Shelby Hastings - Weekly Artist: Ettore Moni

Ettore Moni (http://www.ettoremoni.com/) is a documentary photographer that hails out of Italy. He sticks to working with a 4x5 large format camera and does no post-production on all of his pictures of urban and natural landscapes. This series of work called Alps aims to speak about the construction in what would be rather beautiful natural landscapes, but instead has a large touch of humanity blocking and destroying part of the landscape. His aim is to make the viewers feel upset about destroying the wonders of nature. Ettore wishes to bring light to the permanent repercussions of such destruction.
