Inspiration?

So, I'm taking a Graphic Design course called Imaging I this semester, and our first assignment was really interesting, and I found it somewhat inspiring. So maybe if you are seeking some inspiration you can try this exercise out and see if it works for you.

Okay so basically the assignment is to go on a walk. Make sure you have a journal, a pen, and in this case a camera. There are four questions you need to think about.
1) How does one acquire a new set of eyes in order to see things differently?
2) How does one acquire the habit of looking more closely, of turning things upside down, of becoming more aware?
3) How does one become original?
4) How does one explore?

My teacher wanted us to make drawings, but in this case take pictures. Every time you think you want to answer a question, jot it down, and take a picture of what's around you and what you see. Respond to what you see.

Try it out, you never know!

  1. This could be quite useful during our three different approaches to photographing next week.
