Response to Fisher Article

Fisher's "The Success of Failure" reminds me of our recent class discussion about "Like" and "Dislike" in the sense that we automatically categorize failure as some horrible, undesirable thing (much like "dislikes"). Reading this article just confirmed my beliefs that failure is just as important as success. We have been fed our entire lives that perfection and greatness is (or should be) our major goal in life and that obtaining anything less is failure. Failing is often viewed shamefully, but I say FAILURE is the fuel to my fire, the fuel that keeps me going, keeps me motivated. So in conclusion, you might suffer a bit, but you'll be happy about it in the long run.
