Anderson Gallery

While looking through the prints at the Anderson Gallery, certain issues were brought up about Larry Clark's Tulsa series. The questions raised were about censorship and what be shown if his series were to be displayed. I believe it is important in our practice to consider the audience in which our artwork would be seen by. The interpretation of one group could be completely different from another. It is also important to decide whether censoring part of a work will ultimately hinder its meaning.
