I can't remember who mentioned possibly focusing on creating a more lighthearted and humorous body of work this semester, but I recommended a look at Elliott Erwitt. There's something very humble and honest about all of his photography, especially in his less serious moments. Kate and I went to a fantastic show of his at the ICP this summer that was his selected personal best. It was interesting to see the variation in someone's life work, especially when then date range was between 1953-2001.
