Nan Golden caught my attention with her self-portrait work. She is able to create a well constructed image without making the compositions look forced. I feel she is able to express different parts of her personality with a limited amount of information. Though I have not experimented much with portraits, I would like to achieve the same varied and dynamic quality as her images express to me.
