Ruedi Glatz

This work, Backflashes, is part of a larger motif of subcultures and the long term study of documenting groups to which access is very exclusive. Thusly, these people or their actions are rarely seen or understood by the public. But more than just documenting people and places, Ruediger sets out to capture the emotion, the adrenaline, and the experience of these people. What attracts me to Ruedi's work is just that, the submersion into a lifestyle, the visceral representation of this world, and the experiential importance/necessity to making this work.
