The light and vivid colors of Kyle Johnson's work is what originally drew me in. It appears that he seems to take advantage of the warm, soft light that comes with an afternoon sun, which gives many of his images, especially his portraits, a warmth to them. It is interesting though, when looking through his editorial work and then comparing it to his other portraits and landscapes since some of the editorial work comes off almost very neutral and lacks the warmth that his other images have.
