During my critique last week, Cristina De Middel was brought up as an artist I needed to check out. She has a lot of very interesting projects but this one, Espan, had me most interested. It deals with very simple compositions that lead to very extravagant narratives. I of course really enjoy this imagery and hope to achieve something similar to it. The use of color is also gorgeous and I can see a cohesiveness in tones. Cristina de Middel is a documentary photographer and artist living and working in London, United Kingdom
