Susan Lipper was born and raised in New York City. She attended Yale School of Art and received her MFA in photography in 1983. She would rent cars and travel around America, thus creating her series. The thing that i really enjoy about her work is that seems planned yet has this sporadic feeling about it. I feel the same way about my work sometimes. She has this very snapshot quality in her Grapvine series that i really enjoy. Her other series are a little bit more 'thought out' if you wanna call it that.
