Yousuf Karsh's portraits of celebrities are visually stunning with his use of light and tonal range. Celebrities from this time period have always interested me, it is often a time that I wish I could have grown up in. I would love to achieve his quality of light and darks, never having any blown out highlights or muddied blacks.
