Artist- Amber-Lynn Taber

Corinne May Botz
Parameters

In this body of work, Botz worked with those who suffered from agoraphobia, which is "the fear of public places from which escape may be difficult or embarrassing in the event of a panic attack." She photographed inside their homes, where they feel most safe and the objects the kept abundant to insure that feeling of safety. The series examines our way as humans of coping with one issue by finding an obsession or way to ignore the present issue.
