Nguan was born and raised in Singapore. He went to Northwestern University in Illinois and majored in Photo and Film Production. His use of color is so inspiring to me. They all have a kind of pink hue to them and I think that's really interesting that it can be seen in almost all of his photos. His series all have such a strong conversation throughout that's truly inspiring to me. I'm often jealous of photographers not originally from America because they tend to notice things we don't and see everything so differently. I would love to see these photos in person.
