Lexi Wilson-- Weekly Artist Post

The artist I am posting about this week is a different than most artists I've posted as far as subject matter. Antoine Rose's project, Up in the Air, is a project where he takes pictures of different scenes containing lots of people from a bird's eye view to create a abstract and minimalistic composition of a natural scene. What I admire about him is the fear and precision involved in his technique. He shoots from a helicopter 300 feet high with all doors open at 20 knots and is still able to capture a tack sharp image. Some of his works are blown up and printed 3 meters wide.
