Jessica Aicholtz-weekly artist

So upon Shane's suggestion I've stepped away from people (which has been a huge leap for me). In the process I've discovered some interesting things that has really given me a lot to think about, which is always a good feeling. Therefore, this week my artist is Jeff Koons. He was born in PA and produces work in both his hometown of York and New York City. His main focus is of objects, objects and more objects. He reproduces common day  objects into massive sculptures and installations. I am really fascinated by his installations and his process. One of the main things he likes to use is balloons but he makes them into massive steel replicas with a shiny clear transparent coating.
