Lucas Blalock is an artist that is really interested in the translation he creates between analog and digital photography. Having studied under Steven Shore while attending Bard College, he felt his education to be very classical. Now having complete control over his work, he stays clear of anything classical. He likes to leave his gestures made by him analog-ly and Photoshop-ly comeplete apparent and clear for the viewer to see. He is known for his digital manipulation. Shane had referred this artist to me during my presentation so I could read the piece that Stanley wrote on him. Blalock has given me ideas to bring manipulation into my medium format pictures from Scotland.
