Svjetlana Tepavcevic – Means of Reproduction

Svjetlana Tepavcevic’s work in the Means of Reproduction project is founded around the discovery of the inner shell of a vine seedpod on one of her hikes. The project then blossomed into a tale of transformation, vitality, detail, and resilience. Her images closely document seeds capable of growing out of asphalt proving life’s accomplishments and feats through tough circumstances in addition to its drive to reproduce.

I’ve known of Tepavcevic’s work via Lenscratch since my obsession with documenting things similar to this nature. I’ve always been a fan of the way she depicts contrast and color in her work as well as the minimalistic layouts and immense amount of sharpness (including other projects of hers like Infinity, etc.).

  1. Yayyy glad to see that you're still researching work similar to the project you were doing last year! Those images were so strong and can't wait to see the way your vision is developing!
